Unfortunately I'll have to miss this one, but on Monday 19 October the Thames Discovery Programme are holding a Black History Month event in Deptford. S I Martin, author of Britain's Slave Trade, will be leading a walk highlighting the Black heritage of Deptford and the Thames.
